An inspired piece of potting from the famous atelier of Fourmaintreaux Freres of Desvres. This superb Late 19th Century Antique French Faience Ewer is fashioned and decorated in the Italian style with finely painted classical figures reserved upon a delicate lemon ground. Signed on the underside FF1229 in magenta.
