Description: Old Antique Detecto Dial Hanging General Store Scale 20 lb Capacity Description: Presented for your consideration is this neat old country general store s cale. This is a metal handing 20 pound capacity scale made by Detecto Scales. The dial is marked "Detect Scales, Detecto Scales Inc. New York, NY U.S.A." Included is the dial and large metal tray. There are three chains for hanging the tray, two are missing the hooks at the end. Dial measures 8 1/2" in diameter. The tray measures 13 1/4" long x 12" wide x 5" tall. In Good condition. There is wear, patina, minor bending & light surface oxidation, due to age. This unique scale set would make a nice addition to your antique, vintage collection.
