's one for you antique tool collectors out t They don't build 'em like this anymore. It's an AMF DeWalt Model MBE 9" (I think) radial arm saw. Nameplate data from the saw frame is as follows: Model: MBE Rel No.: 225 Serial No.: 218353 Dominion of Canada Patented 1941 - 1944 - 1945 DeWalt, Inc. Lancaster, PA Subsidiary of American Machine & Foundry Co. Nameplate data from the motor:H.P.: .75Amp: 9.8Frame: 156Volts: 120RPM: 3425CY: 60DeWalt, Inc.Subsidiary of American Machine & Foundry Co.The old saw still runs great. I converted it from 9" to 10" by installing the Craftsman blade guard shown in the photos (9" blades are hard to come by). The original blade guard is included (see photos), and will go right back on with one nut (no modifications were made to the saw to install the Craftsman guard). With the exception of the motor starting capacitor, the old saw looks to be 100% original. Could use another tabletop, and it needs a stand (the table it is sitting on is not included). Still slides as smooth as silk, all original knobs still t except one.I've owned the old saw for several years now, and it's time for it to go to a good home w it can be appreciated. Will deliver within 150 miles of Riverside, AL (zip 35135). Due to size and weight of this item, I will not ship it.Please email with any questions, and good luck bidding!!!!!Serial read more
