For sale is a vintage die cut embossed paper sign give-away from Ed V. Price Tailoring Company of Chicago, ILThis is a lovely Die cut embossed sign. It shows a young blonde girl with a purple straw hat. She has several newly hatched baby chicks perching in her hat and on her shoulders. She has another in her hand. The advertising for Ed V. Price and Company appears on the bottom with the trademark slogan "Who's Your Tailor?". The sign measures approx. 9 1/2 x 6 1/2 inches. I would date this from 1900 - 1919.The sign is in excellent vintage condition. The color and imagery are wonderful and extremely detailed. It shows only a few very small places where there is any loss of material or color. The back appears to have had an easel back attachment at some point and this has been lost. This could be easily replaced.
