You are bidding on an Antique DIETZ No. 340 ICC SAFETY KIT! Yep, this is the old one with the No. 32 Kerosene Smudge Pots / Tank Flares and Lids! As you can see in the picture that 1 of the Dietz Kerosene Flares has been replaced with a Grote No. 90 Kerosene Flare [never lit]. The box has some surface rust but no cancer and measures 17 ¾" long x 7" wide x 6" tall. 's the print on the box: DIETZ NO. 340 [under that] NEW YORK MADE IN U.S.A. The Kerosene Flares tanks are 5 ½" diameter x 4" tall, total height 6". 's what's included: The metal Dietz box, 2 - Dietz No. 32 kerosene Flares & Lids, 1 - Grote No. 90 kerosene Flare & Lid, 3 - round bottom Dietz Flag Poles [specifically fits on top of the Dietz Kerosene Flares], 1 - Grote Flag Pole [slips into lid of Grote kerosene Flare], 4 - Flags, 1 - Fusee extractor [3 fusee's can be easily pulled out of box, they rest on this inside the box] and 3 - Standard 15 min. Automotive Fusee's [print on these strike to light burning fuses reads: MADE FOR R. E. DIETZ COMPANY NEW YORK U.S.A. COMPLYING ABSOLUTELY WITH SPECIFICATIONS OF BUREAU OF EXPLOSIVES] Everything is in Excellent Condition! This set up would have been a gasoline hauler's nightmare if he broke down.
