PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: This auction is for a lovely antique doll dress. Made of white light-weight cotton with all over embroidered circle dots. It is a little whiter in the photos as I used natural light, but it is white. I do not know what size doll this will fit so read measurements below before bidding. There is a great deal of hand stitching to this dress. Dress has a fitted waist. Gathered bodice. Beautiful white cotton lace trimmed collar meant to be set longer on one side. Wide neckline trimmed with fine white cotton Val lace. Set-in sleeves fine lace trim along the edge. Skirt is gathered for fullness and is very full. A 2 in. ruffle sewn on at the hemline trimmed with fine white cotton Val lace. Single button and button hole at the backside waist and a hook and eye at the backside neckline for closure. I have added a blue silk ribbon sash at the waist which I will send along. Beautiful dress!! Please read condition and measurements below and look at all of the photos as they are an important part of the description. CONDITION : Good condition. There are some repairs and small holes which I have pointed out in the photos. I have tried to point out the most obvious as shown in the photos. There are a few other repairs, one at the front waistband and small holes throughout which are not photographed, including sleeves, again, small. Skirt is hand stitched to the waistband so there are some gaps. Look at pics to see more. No stains. This has been gently hand laundered, air dried and ironed with no starch. It is clean with n o odor. My home is smoke-free.
