ANTIQUE DOLL HEAD OF BISQUE 1915 MARKED "6" This is an antique doll which my mother had when she was a child in about 1918. I think the doll is made in about 1915. The head is made by bisque or porcelain, and on the back of the head it is marked "6" It is not marked in any other way.The head has no cracks or chips. I have scanned the inside of the head with a lamp, and I didn't see anything wrong. On one of the pictures, you can see on the outside of the head, near the neck some red hairline. I think that is something from the manufacturing of the doll . You can see some cracks on her body near her neck. One toe is broken. She has nice glass eyes, but it is not a sleeping doll. Her length is 35 cm ( 14 inch ). Her weight is 411 g.
