this lovely old doll is from between 1900 and 1920, she was made in Germany and has an unknown to me mark on the back of her head, i cant work out if its NWB or WD or WB. As you can see from the pics she needs completely restringing, all the bits are present i think, her head is in lovely condition, no cracks or chips or repairs. Beautiful blue glass eyes, thick eyelashes and teeth, there is a small firing mark on the right of her lower lip. Her hair has seen better days, one top bit of it is detached. The body on the whole is pretty good, some chipped bits off her legs and some ware to her shins. When put together she will measure approximately 23 inches long. Any questions please ask, or if anyone knows the head marks please let me know. NWB, WD, WB ? made in germany and the number 10 underneath. I've done some swatting and the doll could possibly be Walther and Sohne, the mark is very close to their WS entwined and i found one with the exact same dimple in her chin.
