ANTIQUE DORE BRONZE HAND MIRROR WITH GUILLOCHE ENAMEL AND PAINTING ON IVORY - 1880 The pictures speak for themselves. This mirror is exquisite and in fabulous condition. There is an ornate ribbon bow on the top and beading around the quatrefoil shaped frame. There is some wear to the gilt, especially the handle just has traces. The royal blue guilloche enamel is in perfect condition. The oval center painting is under convex glass. A few little scratches on the glass. The extremely well executed painting of a beautiful young lady holding a basket of cherries is signed, although I can't read it. The painting is in excellent condition. The beveled mirror is in great condition as well with just a few scratches. Circa 1880. Size: 12 1/4" x 4 3/8". Painting 3" x 1 3/4". Less than 5% of this item is ivory and it dates to pre-1900.
