DESCRIPTION MLN 312 Antique Burled Walnut Double Arch Top Armoire ~ This is a grand English beauty in all original condition, a rare style with double arched doors and beautiful grain. The graceful elegance of this piece is traditional and will be the perfect complement to any room of the house. We envision it used in an entryway, living room or hallway, w it will provide storage for outerwear, for linens, vacuums and such. Any cumbersome home necessity you've no space for can be tucked away behind these finely ornamented doors for storage. This lovely thing is made of walnut with a beautiful burled grain used on the doors. The outlining trim provides the perfect accent to the curvy look of the wood, and the original brass hardware ~ plus working lock and key ~ shines like gold. The center style is accented with trim and a carved topknot, echoed at the tops of the doors. Just the right amount of carving, in our view, accents the simple straight lines of this appealing piece. It's fitted with hanging bars and a shelf, and we've simple instructions which will allow you to add wooden shelves to this piece with nothing more than a trip to HomeDepot or similar. Condition is fine with no concerns noted aside from minor wear to the original finish. Estimate age at 1940s. Largest photo is best indicator of color on our monitor, though each monitor varies. T is no white circular spot on the lower right door as that first photo shows; that's camera artifact, one of those ghostly bubbles that will appear every now and then.
