Up for your consideration is this antique and very rare double bit hand forged belt axe, looks to be from early to mid 1800's. I bought this small old hand forged axe in a lot at a sale, it is a nice looking old axe, has been sharpened quite a bit over the years, and shows hard frontier pioneer use. Haft is most likely not original, but the head is secured onto it with a old iron nail so it is a old handle. Both bits have quite a bit of use, but still looks great, imagine all the history this thing has seen. This axe would be great for mountain rendezvous or Revolutionary War re-enacting, or just to hang on the wall. I currently accept Money Orders and Paypal only, personal checks are NOT accepted under any circumstances!!
