Offering An early banquet or student oil lamp shade,in an Opal cone shape Sandwich glass with a double ring or double knuckle top shade with geometric lines, and generous gold trim. Shade has a cut, ground, and polished top and bottom rim, Shade dates ca. 1870s - 1880s, .Measures 3" across top opening and 10" across center of bottom opening which will sit in a 10" lamp fitter.shade measures 5 1/4"tall and in immaculate condition, Has a loud ring when held up and gently tapped,will indicate no cracks.no chips,or scratches to be seen.The perfect shade for the early select oil lamp.
