Antique Drafting Table Frederick Post Oak Cast Iron EX DESCRIPTION is a great find! Hope you didn't mind scrolling through the pictures, but I posted so many in hopes that they do justice to this piece! The photos come close, but this table is even more beautiful in reality. This piece can be used in so many ways, especially in small living spaces. Use your imagination - It is gorgeous!This is an original Frederick Post Drafting Table. The base is golden oak with cast iron movement mechanism. The top is also wood with a lighter finish, possibly ash? I can't identify it, but I'm no expert :) The table top measures 48 inches by 36 inches. The table height adjusts from lowest position of 35 inches to the highest position of 44 inches from the floor. The table top swings from horizontal to vertical and any angle in between. CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition. The wood grain base is gorgeous with a nice golden color. No obvious imperfections. The table top is in excellent USED condition. I cleaned it and took off several pieces of scotch tape, leaving a few sticky spots that still need a little elbow grease (and a strong fingernail!). The edges have some soiling and t are two small burn marks as you can see in the pics. Both the base and the top have the small metal makers mark. Overall really nice condition.
