This auction is for an outstanding piece of fine porcelain Dresden, amazingly beautiful! This piece stands 8.5" tall and is 13.5" long! It looks like a great big old-fashioned shoe with a sweet cherub sitting on the toe! T is a hole in the middle on each side as if to thread a shoelace through. In the middle of all of the HUNDREDS (seriously, not exaggerating!) of gorgeous applied flowers, t are wonderful handpainted flower scenes on both sides. The condition is really great. T are some small chippies and t on some of the flowers, but really quite minimal considering the age of the piece and the amount of flowers involved. You have to hunt to find them, they do not stand out at all. The end of the cherubs nose has a little rough spot and the side of one of his arms has a small rough spot, both also very minor. An amazing, one-of-a-kind find! You will love it!
