WELCOME to our site* Today for your consideration,and offered at No Reserve, we have for you a *SUPERB Antique late1920's/early 30's Dresden Plate Quilt*that measures 77x82 which is a Full or Twin Size but would also be great as a coverlet on a Queen! It is made entirely cotton fabrics including the thin batting. It is handquilted in a straightline and diagonal stitch grid with tiny precise stitches at 7-8spi. T are twenty beautiful 15&1/2 inch plates that adorn this beauty and the fabrics are so lovely! As you can see in the photos the colors are *Bright and the Fabrics are still intact with the exception of one blue block ( yep,only one block) that is starting to show a tiny bit of wear.* T are NO frayed edges, stains, holes, rips or worn fabrics! You can still see some of the pencil marks under a few of the stitches mostly toward the center of the quilt. The ground and reverse are white as is the 1/2 inch trim. T is alot of handquilting in this lovely piece of *American History* :o) With the exception of the one blue block starting to show wear, this quilt is in*Superb Condition and has been excellently preserved over the years! The fabric is *Strong and Sturdy* and what about all the *BEA-U-TI-FUL COLORS AND FABRICS!?!! GREENS, REDS, BLUES, LAVENDER,YELLOW, PINKS AND MORE! T are many, many more years left in this quilt and could definitly be passed on for more generations to come. It will be absolutely gorgeous anyway you choose to use or display it.
