Beautiful lidded urn with splendid hand painted decoration of courting scenes. We have looked at these under a magnifying loupe and they are not transfer. Even the little lid has courting scenes. Wonderful floral motif on two sides with deep burgundy background. This is in excellent condition with little to no wear to profuse gilt scrolling. Measures 9" high and 4" wide. Marked with a W in a shield (Richard Wehsner, c1895-1918) and Dresden in script. This would make an extraordinary gift!
