This Dressel lantern was made for the New York Canal system and it is called a Mohawk Lamp.This lantern is in excellent condition without any chips on the lens but the metal has some surface rust and could use repainting.The oil font appears to be in excellent condition and the original burner is in place along with a red chimney.It measures 23" tall X 13" wide at the two rings on the side.This lantern was found recently at a sale in the Adirondack Mountains. On large packages please wait for an invoice to avoid having to pay twice for the following reasons.Due to changes in the way the US Post Office is handling their rates the shipping calculator figures may not be accurate on packages that exceed one square foot which is most of what I sell.To obtain accurate estimates using their new method I would have to prepackage everything I sell(not going to happen)so I could insert the deminsions into the calculator.Thanks for your cooperation.
