This Dressel lantern was made for the New York Canal system and it is called a Mohawk Lamp.This lantern is in excellent condition without any chips on the lens but the metal has some surface rust and could use repainting.The oil font appears to be in excellent condition and the original burner is in place along with a red chimney.It measures 23" tall X 13" wide at the two rings on the side.This lantern was found recently at a sale in the Adirondack Mountains.
