Very nice early 1800's dresser likey custom made by a cabinet shop for a family.
All original "wormy chestnut" dresser in nice condition with no repairs made other than refinishing with varnish. (T is a small piece missing out of one of the legs from moving it that could easily be repaired) Features: Dovetail Construction, 4 large drawers with 1" thick fronts and 2 small drawers on top. Has VERY RARE Bone lock escutcheons that really age this unique piece, please see photo) Has hand scalloped front panel and onne piece sides that are 19" deep. Extermely Rare! It also has very large hand cut square nails that hold it together. This Beautiful dresser is nearly 200 years old, yet still looks great today.
