Part of a dug relic remains of a 1884 Cavalry Carbine parts, rusted metal detected found in the Arizona desert in the 1960s near Fort Huachuca. Don't know much about it other than that. Can clearly read the Model 1884 US. The breach block opens and closes too. Great for a display, western room etc. SOLID BLOCK OF RUST.
