INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS: PAYPAL ONLY ~ DUE WITH IN 48 HOURS OF AUCTION CLOSE! NICE E.N. WELCH PARLOR CLOCK WITH ALARM ! Fabulous, pretty parlor clock! Lovely design, and one that we enjoyed finding at a recent estate dispersal. Very clean...finish has alligatored a bit...nothing major, but want to mention. Lovely urn and vine reverse painted door...glass could be tighter in the frame than it is, but again, just want to mention so you are aware. Inside we have a marked Welch face with clear numbers. Face is in excellent condition, as are the hands. One of the few clocks that when found, was not over wound! However, when we wound it, it did not want to run for more than a few minutes without stopping. Set of brass 8 day works...strikes at the hour and 1/2 hour ...lovely sound and it appears to be in good condition...alarm system in place, but we would assume that both will require some adjustment upon receipt. Good hinges...wonderful gingerbread look...great clock maker! Back side of the case if good, with some remnant color from w the original labels were. Nice one for the collection or your use! Measures in at 21" tall and 14" wide . Ask questions if you have them...will be carefully packed and shipped promptly upon confirmation of your payment. International Bidders : Your payment is due within 48 hours of auction close via Paypal only . Payment by any other method will be considered non-payment. Our apologies, but our banks are charging for clearing international money orders. Also, unfortunately, with some buyers taking advantage of the system, we can no longer ship International First Class as it does not provide tracking ability for packages. USA Bidders : Your payment is due within 7 days from auction close via Paypal, or personal check/money order. No Cows, No Chickens...please use the checkout system with ebay to advise us of your payment intention at the close of the auction. Insurance is recommended , and not included in the shipping calculator quote. Please do not anticipate that we will "make good" any item damaged by the USPS or UPS systems due to mishandling. If you do obtain insurance, and have a claim, we will provide you with the proper paperwork, but you must proceed from your end with the claim. You may be asked to provide the original box and contents to the USPS or UPS prior to their processing the claim. Failure to do so will nullify their requirement to reimburse you for your loss. Additional Packaging Requests : We have received a few requests to " double box " our items. While we take great care to pack our items normally, we do not generally double box . To do so adds to the weight and expense for shipping. Please be aware that if you make this request, you must do so prior to paying as your invoice must be adjusted to accommodate the additional shipping weight. Do not wait until paying to include a "note" with your payment, as we may then be unable to comply with your request. Please note : We care about your item! We pack carefully, as if it will be our own, taking great care. For this, we incur substantial packing costs associated with proper delivery to you. As much as we so appreciate our clients, new and old, please do not bid and buy from us if you intend to leave negative ratings in feedback for the costs of shipping carefully to you. Our handling ($2.00 - $3.00) per item does not cover our complete annual average packing costs, which is included in the shipping costs quoted in the shipping calculator below.
