ANTIQUE EAPG GLASS CHILD PEDESTAL CAKE PLATE/STAND ~*~1910 REXFORD CHILD CAKE PLATE,J.B.HIGBEE CO~*~ Up for bidding is a gorgeous antique Eapg child size cake plate/stand, made by J.B. Higbee circa 1910.In the Rexford pattern, also known as Euclid or Boylan. This information and more can be found in Pressed Glass 1860-1930 4th edition By:Edwards & Carwile page 229. It has a wonderful design on the face of the cake plate of oval canes, stars and diamond pattern, and a wonderful saw tooth edging which prevents your wonderful masterpieces from slipping off. It has 4 molds. It measures 5 inches tall and 9-3/4 inches in diameter on the face. It has a sturdy thick clear stem. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks etc. It does have some straw marks that is very common in this type of glass and doesn't deter it from it's beauty. This would be a wonderful addition to any pressed glass collection or cake plate collection you may have. Thanks for stopping by my place and happy bidding!
