Up for sale today is a great Antique EAPG or Early American Pattern Glass advertising or salesman sample miniature pitcher advertising "Kurtz Cash Grocery, Ephrata, PA". The Kurtz advertisement is acid etched into the front of the pitcher, just under the spout. The piece has an applied glass handle. The design is a simple, but lovely, with a zipper ring, followed by a bead ring, followed by another zipper ring. Overall the piece is 4 1/16" tall (to the tallest point at the edge of the spout). From the back of the handle to the end of the spout the piece is approx. 3 1/4". The foot is approx. 1 7/8" in diameter. It has no damage at all, no chips, no cracks! This piece is made just like a fullsize pitcher, but on miniature scale. This makes me wonder if it is actually a salesman sample instead of just an advertising piece. You be the judge. Still, what a great little EAPG piece, and very nice quality! I personally have never seen another like it.
