You are bidding on an Antique Flame Mahogany Commode Dresser Chest of Drawers. This piece is a RARE FIND due to its size, age and beauty and dates back to the 19th Century Circa 1840 possibly earlier and was American made. This piece was VERY WELL made and of the HIGHEST quality. It sits on beautifully turned spindle carved legs with all its drawers which are all doweled and dovetailed together with rounded pull handles as shown in the photos and they all have mortise locks no key. The top still has its original and naturally aged patina with the original keyhole covers and nicely rounded pull handles and beautifully curved and chamfered back splash; It has a beautiful and exotic naturally figured wood grain pattern as you can see in the pictures. Because of its size it can be used in a hallway or foyer, dining room, bedroom, living room over a flat panel TV and anyw else throughout your home as a beautiful accent piece. This piece was VERY WELL made with quality that surpasses anything that is made today and all wood construction but Please understand that this is an antique so it has some minor imperfections on it with its age but overall this piece is in excellent shape.
