This is a poem by Edgar A. Guest in an antique frame which measures approx. 10 1/2 X 5 3/4". It is in very good condition. The poem is as follows: "SOMEBODY CARES FOR YOU. CARES SO MUCH THAT THE HEART GROWS GLAD AT YOUR SLIGHTEST TOUCH; AND THE SOUND OF YOUR VOICE AND THE SIGHT OF YOUR SMILE MAKES EVERY BURDEN AND CARE WORTH WHILE. SOMEBODY CARES FOR YOU BYE AND BYE, WHEN THE YEARS ROLL ON, YOU WILL KNOW IT'S I. THEN, LOOKING BACK O'ER THE ROAD WE'VE FARED, YOU'LL SEE HOW MUCH FOR YOU SOMEBODY CARED." It is in the art nouveau style with silver embossing on the card. The drawing appears to be signed by "Wheeler" and I think that the date is 1907 Indianapolis. It is written really tiny in the corner and All I have is a magnifying glass that isn't very strong. It may be 1927 but I am not positive. It definately has quite a bit of age. Thanks for looking!
