Antique Electra Lightning Rod with Amber Ball and Starburst Finial: Up for auction is an antique lightning rod from ELECTRA. Please use the photos to help judge the condition of the lightning rod. This is a beautiful lightning rod that stands about 34 inches and comes with an iron three legged stand. The lightning rod has an amber ball with ELECTRA embossed on the side. Sitting atop the lightning rod is a beautiful starburst finial with the ELECTRA "E" in the center. I think the rod may have been struck, because there is a small hole with some cracking in the ball and a couple of splits in the rod itself (see photos). The stand can be bent and adjusted for any roof top. The copper parts to the lightning rod have a layer of patina giving it a great vintage look. The bottom of the lightning rod is stamped "Electra Patented" This is a great primitive piece to add to your home or business. ABOUT ME: Hello, My name is Jason.
