Ellis Bros Mfg. Co. from Clinton Ky. made this neat lock. It is probably the earliest example of heal & toe locking that I have seen. The lock has 2 original keys with it, and they release the shackle perfectly. I don't believe this lock had a shackle spring so the shackle needs to be pulled up manually if it is being held in hand.
