Up for auction........ This authentic Edward Miller 3-socket lamp base to restore or use for parts. The footed bottom that is currently on lamp is not original. I have the original and have included 4 pictures of it. I will be sending this base along with the one that is on lamp. It is rusty, but appears to be made of cast brass, weighs about 5 lbs and is 9 1/4" diameter. It is marked EM & Co 1138. The bottom that is currently on lamp is marked L in one corner and 84 in another. This lamp has three pull-chain Hubbell sockets. Two of the chains have acorn pulls and one acorn is missing from third chain. The lamp is approx. 21 1/2" tall to top of finial (the original base adds an additional 1" to height). The original cloth-covered cord was cut off short and is deteriorated. It appears that someone tried to polish the urn section of base. There is both brass and white metal showing. This lamp was acquired at an estate sale and is being sold 'as is'--- just as I found it. Will need to be rewired. This beautiful old lamp will make a great restoration project or use for parts. No shade. NO RESERVE Thanks for looking.
