This is a very nice Emerson radio model 652 that was made in 1951. This is a five tube set that receives the AM band. You will receive all your local AM stations with the factory loop antenna. This set is small enough to place anyw and you can play it everyday. The Chassis This set has been completely restored electronically. All the old electrolytic and paper capacitors have been replaced with new polypropylene capacitors. All tubes have been checked and weak tubes replaced as needed. A new power cord was installed. The Chassis has been cleaned and moving parts lubricated. A new volume control and on/off switch have been installed. The set plays great with suprising volume and nice tone. Cabinet The cabinet is in great condition with no cracks or imperfections. The cabinet has been polished to a very high shine. T is a dark spot on the left side of one of the pictures (it is on the camera lens and not on the radio itself). This is a very nice original radio. DIMENSIONS The cabinet is 9" long, 6" high, 5" deep. I will carefully package and ship this radio, fully insured to anyw in the continental United States for $15.00. I use Fed Ex Ground. I have been restoring antique radios for many years and have been on Ebay since 1999, check my feedback. Be sure to check my other auctions for more restored antique radios.
