This fan needs restoration - or could serve as parts for a restoration project. The screen has a center tag that says Emerson Fan Motors, but the tag on the motor itself reads Robbins & Myers Co. Spring Field Ohio, List 2426. The cord reads IBM, has been taped on with friction tape, and looks like its probably from the 1970s or 80s. When plugged in the fan hums but the blades do not turn. Height is 19.5 inches to top of screen; the fan diameter is 16 inches. Some of the screws holding the screen in place apprear not to be original. The Emerson tag in the center is in excellent condition, no noticeable scratches. Base has some surface rust, and t are paint splatters in various places. In the right hands this fan could cool again just as elegantly as it did 80 years ago. No reserve auction. Shipping wt 25 lbs.
