You are bidding on The Antique Traditional Early American Mahogany Twin Bed. This is a RARE FIND due to its size, age and beauty and is from the late 19th Century or Turn of the Century Circa 1900 and was American made and possibly earlier with an old original label that has been worn down and it could be an old piece from Kittiner and an early piece that was beautifully done after Early American designs of the 17th and 18th Century as shown in the photos. The headboard is nicely curved with pierced splat design that is beautifully scrolled at each end of the headboard. The footboard has beautiful spindle carved finials at the top of each side and the bed itself sits in nicely turned spinlde carved legs. It has nicely reeded trim work throughout and the footboard has a beautifully fluted spindle carved columns going across the top. It has a beautifu and exotic flame swirl crotch mahogany wood grain pattern as shown in the pictures. This was VERY WELL made with quality that surpasses ANYTHING made today and is all wood construction but Please understand that this an antique that is all original so it has some minor imperfections on it but overall they are in excellent shape.
