Stunning Antique Empire French Walnut and Ormolu Double Bed Item description: A stunning empire style French walnut bed with ormolu mounts . The head and footboard are both inlaid with marquetry detailing, the walnut is quarter veneered showing the beauty of the grain and the patina is excellent. The bed comes with a base and is ready for use, easy to assemble and just requires a mattress. There is some minor veneer loss to the top of the footrail. This is part of a bedroom suite, please take a moment to look at my other items for the wardrobe/linen press and the bedside table.
