ANTIQUE ENGLISH 9K GOLD GOLDEN TOPAZ & SEED PEARL HALLEY'S COMET PIN c1835 An antique English, solid 9 carat gold (tests thereabouts) pin; beautifully modelled as a comet, and set with a row of seed pearls surrounding a foiled golden topaz. Probably made to commemorate the passing of Halley's Comet in 1835. So beautiful, lovely quality & very collectable...very wearable too! CONDITION : All original and very, very good. Slightest signs of wear commensurate with age and use. DEFECTS : None. DATE/MARKS : Around 1835. Not marked. DIMENSIONS : Comet 26 x 10 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm).
