Antique English Art Deco Pop Up Bar Liquor Cabinet HUGE Rolling Cart that holds full bar and crystal !! This listing is for probably the most interesting piece that I've seen in the past year!! Not just a trolley, not just a liquor cabinet, this is a completely enclosed rolling cabinet that opens up to reveal a full size bar, complete with places for "martini" glasses and other serving items. The top lids are on heavy hinges that smoothly open the top and raise the interior (it "pops up") at the same time. You can leave the glasses and bottles in place, and as you shut the lid, the glasses, bottles, and everything else inside is smoothly lowered into the compartment below. (Note the dimensions; the interior compartment is capable of holding full size liquor and wine bottles!). When fully opened, the lids are flat on each side, providing additional serving areas. The rounded ends of the cabinet each have six glass holders, with a metal loop to slip crystal stems under and secure them when rolling the cabinet around, so as not to break any crystal in movement. The two long inserts in the main compartment have more holders for glasses and even little holes for "olive" picks. These two inserts are completely removable. The cabinet is oak and oak veneer with a beautiful grain and patina; it has the original castors, which work well, making it easy to roll the cart from area to area. I estimate the cabinet to be circa 1930-50; I purchased the cabinet in a recent English shipment sale. Please note: Crystal and alcohol in photos not included!! Measurements: The cabinet measures 30"H x 45"L x 16 ¼"W. The center portion is 16"deep and the rounded sides are 9 ½" deep. As already mentioned, the cabinet is in good condition for its age, structurally sound and visually appealing with normal signs of age and use, scratches, dings, and other imperfections. I only offer carefully selected quality pieces, and always provide multiple photos and written information. I encourage you to email me with any questions you might have prior to bidding. Please keep in mind antique furniture should be purchased for its uniqueness, higher quality material and craftsmanship and antique patina, charm and character. SHIPPING: Professional packaging, shipping and insurance on this item will be $170.00. (lower 48 states only) due to the size and weight of the cabinet. Please feel free to confirm the shipping costs at , adding 6 inches to all sizes for proper packaging. I sell a large number of items this size, and I have found that short-cutting on shipping to reduce the costs almost always results in damage. All my antique furniture is professionally packaged for shipment by UPS, resulting in very little shipping damage in the past, but sometimes creating slightly higher shipping costs on my antiques versus other sellers. I believe it is worth the few extra dollars to get your one-of-a-kind antique delivered safely to your front door!! I will also allow the buyer to arrange for another company to package and ship the chest, if desired, and the buyer can pay the shipper directly. Local pick-up in Shreveport , Louisiana is also available to buyers in the area. Geaux Vintage has a location at Timeline Antiques, 3323 Line Avenue, Shreveport, LA, 71104. Hours are Monday through Saturday, 10am - 5pm, with much more inventory available t for customers that wish to browse in person!!! Thank you for spending time on this listing; I realize t are many, many sellers to choose from, and I appreciate you considering my item!! I also invite you to take a minute to visit my eBay store, Geaux Vintage, to see more English and European antique furniture and accessories.
