We are very pleased to offer this English Oak Barley Twist Wash Basin stand, bowl and pitcher. This fine 3 piece set dates from the early 1900's. It is solid oak with 3 distinctive Barley Twist legs. The upper part supports the wash basin - a solid high-gloss white bowl with a raised ceramics. The pitcher sits inside the bowl, or on the lower shelf of the stand. T was at one time a small shelf or towel bar attached to the side, but it is no longer a part of this piece. The pitcher has a beautiful floral decal on 2 sides and raised ceramic designs to match the bowl. Overall measurements - 29 inches tall, 16 inches diameter, and the pitcher is 11 ½ inches tall and 9 inches wide. Condition is excellent. The stand is solid and sturdy with no defect other than the missing towel bar. The ceramic pieces do have some light crazing due to the age, but it is light, and t are no chips or cracks on either piece. This set is assembled with steel studs, and will be disassembled for shipping. Insurance and special packaging is included in your shipping cost. A wonderful old Barley Twist wash basin set in excellent condition.
