Here's an absolutely amazing, gorgeous and possibly one of a kind antique English Bristol conical shaped Green Glass Bowl, circa 1820. It's a very large round glass cone shaped bowl, with air bubbles and other marks and inclusions in the glass as one would expect from old early 1800's hand blown Bristol glass, with an applied round foot or base, with a rough snapped pontil underneath, and lots of good, honest wear and scratch marks on the bottom of the foot from years and years of being slide across table tops. I have never seen another like it, and from its large size, I guess it might have been intended as a punch bowl, or just a large center bowl for fruit or breads. Whatever it was intended for, it is one of the most beautiful pieces of antique Bristol glass I have ever seen. Measures about 13" diameter and 7 1/2" tall. Very big! No cracks, no chips, no damage at all, in amazing condition for its age. If you're a serious glass collector do not miss this one of a kind stunningly beautiful Bristol Emerald Green Glass Bowl, from the regency empire classical federal period. Due to the very very fragile nature of this large glass item it will have to be double boxed and very very well packed in big boxes, hence the shipping costs.
