Antique English Creamware Ribbon Basket and Matching Under Tray 1800Offered for sale is this rare English creamware ribbon basket with under tray in a pointed oval flared shape. It is decorated with twisted brown trim on the rims and cross piece. It has a reticulated tray to match. No maker's mark. Both pieces are marked with a museum number. Circa 1800.The basket and tray are 10 1/2 inches long by 8 inches wide by 3 1/2 inches tall. It weighs 1 lb 10 oz (shipping weight 4 lbs).Condition: Excellent. No damage or repair. The usual irregularities and stilt marks of early pottery production.Domestic shipping is free.
