Item Description: This is a beautiful antique English dark mahogany Victorian ladies vanity writing table desk. It features a set of 7 smooth operating drawers well constructed with dovetail joinery and they have very beautiful ornate handles. On top it has a lovely back splash with 7 convenient letter shelves and its top surface has an elegant leather insert which is embossed with golden designs around its edge, and though it may show some age appropriate wear it really just adds character and patina to the piece and it validates its original age, circa 1890! Furthermore, it has gorgeous curvaceous legs which really make this desk stand out from the rest. Overall it is in very good cosmetic and structural condition and it is strong and sturdy. This makes an excellent piece of furniture suitable for home or office.
