Purchased from a Massachusetts estate is this lovely old ironstone cup and dee dish saucer. This has a beautiful cobalt flow blue oriental scene around the cup and in the center of the saucer. The cup measures 2 3/4 inches tall and is 3 3/4 inches in diameter at the top. The deep dish saucer measures 1 1/2 inches tall and is 6 inches in diameter. The base is stamped in blue SCINDE. This is also impressed ORIENTAL STONE some intials I can't make out and ALCOCK. This set is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or discoloration. T is very light crazing but nothing objectionable. Nice set to add to any antique flow blue collection. I have several other old flow blue and blue transferware ironstone listed for auction this week that came from the same estate.
