It has an elegant beveled cornice on top and on its left side it features three large slide-out shelves and four smooth operating drawers which are well constructed with dovetail joinery and they have attractive ornate handles and hardware. Its left door, as the door on the right of the armoire, is paneled and it has a beautiful beveled raised square surface above another attractive fluted surface, and its right door has a large mirror also decorated with fluted accents around it and it has a lovely wooden round handle. Its door may be stiff when opened or closed but it operates smoothly and itÃ,Â's missing a wood trim piece on its edge but itÃ,Â's not distracting at all as it is. On the right of the armoire there is a closet and it has a convenient removable shelf on top which has five small hooks on its bottom and six ornate hooks around it. This armoire may have some minor wood scuffs, scratches and imperfections but overall for its age, circa 1890, it is in very good cosmetic and structural condition and it is strong and sturdy.
