ANTIQUE ENGLISH LATE GEORGIAN 9K GOLD CORAL HAIR LOCKET MOURNING LACE PIN c1820 An antique English, solid 9 carat gold (tests thereabouts, loaded with pitch or similar) lace pin; set with a row of natural dark orange coral cabochons surrounding a tiny glass locket, holding an old hair memento. Pretty, totally original & so collectable...wearable too! CONDITION : All original and very good. Slight signs of wear commensurate with age and use. Some dirt under glass, easily removed. May benefit from a clean. DEFECTS : None. DATE/MARKS : Around 1820. Not marked. DIMENSIONS : 16 x 15 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.
