DESCRIPTION MLN 8414 / Antique Mahogany Bookcase ~ This is a grand little mahogany bookcase, a charming thing from 1940s England. It's beautiful and hard to find in this original condition, with a rich, heavy varnish that's luscious to look at and just the thing to give it a marvelous antique look. This beauty has adjustable/removable shelves, so you can arrange them as needed for your own collection or books or china. It has individually paned doors, a mark of quality, and a wonderful stripey mahogany trim running around the top. Supporting it are jaunty Queen Anne legs which give it a graceful appeal not found in the average bookcase. Condition of this beauty is fine with no concerns noted aside from a bit of unevenness w the doors go together (4th photo). This could be fixed with a stop on the inside, but it's virtually unnoticeable, so we'd just let it be. Doors will be removed for safe transit; easily reattached with a screwdriver.
