Antique English Oak Barley Twist 2 Tier Stand Table This listing is for an exquisite English oak barley twist stand or table that I purchased in a recent English container shipment sale. I purchased the stand for its fabulous barley twist legs and its wonderful rich finish that showcases its gorgeous wood grain.A VERY hard-to-find accent piece, certain to compliment any decor, from traditional to Gothic, classic to colonial, Victorian to shabby chic!!!! Features :The top platform has a beveled grooved edge;Lower shelf has gallery style raised edges on all four sides;ApronâÂeÂ(tm)s fancy curved edge accents the curves of the barley twist legs.MOST UNUSUAL, please note the apron of the upper shelf and the raised edge on the lower shelf both have beautiful hand pyrography or âÂeÂoepoker burnedâÂe accents.The stand is 34 Ã,½" H;Top shelf is 12âÂe x 12âÂeÂ;Footprint on the floor is 11âÂe x 11âÂeÂ;Floor to bottom of lower shelf is 12âÂeÂ;Inside of lower shelf is 9âÂe x 9âÂeÂ.The stand is structurally sound, no breaks or repairs, and it is in very good condition for its age, with less than normal signs of age and use, dings, scratches and other imperfections.
