Antique English Oak Barley Twist Jacobean Arm Chair This listing is for a majestic English oak arm chair, with beautiful barley twist on the front legs, arms and stiles. The splat's outstanding wood grain is accented with Jacobean style beaded trim and carvings on the top and the gracefully curved arms complete this chair's "presence". Wonderful as a foyer accent piece, or by the fireplace, perhaps as a reading chair, this piece is suitable for anyw you would like to have it in your home! The covered seat is a "pop-out" seat, easily recovered to match any décor and presently done in a brown tone leather/leather type material. The chair is a LARGE 43" tall, 22 ½" wide across the front arms, and 19 ¼" deep front to back. The chair is in good condition, visually appealing and structurally sound, with normal signs of age and use, scratches, dings, and other imperfections. The seat cushion has fading and one fingertip size hole, but as explained, it is removeable and easily recovered with a staple gun and less than yard of fabric. SHIPPING: Professional packaging, shipping and insurance on this item will be $150.00 due to size and weight (lower 48 states only). All my antique furniture is professionally packaged for shipment by UPS, resulting in very little shipping damage in the past, but sometimes creating slightly higher shipping costs on my antiques versus other sellers.
