About Us | Payments | Shipping | Return Policy | Contact Us Antique English Oak Barley Twist Pewter Candlesticks Antique English Oak Barley Twist Pewter Candlesticks PAIR, Hammered Pewter Bases, James Dixon, Sheffield Direct from England, a unique pair of antique barley twist candlesticks, solid oak with lovely hammered pewter bases. The bases are stamped with the maker's mark and: "James Dixon & Sons" "Sheffield" "W1828" "Cornish Pewter". The pair are a versatile size, 9 ½"H x 4 ½" base diameter. I purchased them from one of my favorite English shippers, along with several other pairs of barley twist candlesticks and other unique items that I'll be listing just in time for the holidays!! All of my antiques are hand selected, utilizing premier European shippers with years of experience. I do not purchase in bulk, but prefer to individually purchase the items, with each piece selected for its unique characteristics and quality. Condition : The candlesticks are in good condition for their age, with normal signs of age and use, scratches, dings and other imperfections to be expected over time.
