Antique English Oak Barley Twist Plant Stand Table Jacobean carved wood trim & arched stretcher bars This listing is for an exquisite English oak barley twist stand or table. All four long barley twist legs are beautifully turned and the stand has a wonderful rich, darkened patina that allows the gorgeous wood grain to show through. The top platform has a beveled grooved edge and the apron has carved wood Jacobean style, large trim on all four sides!! Not to be left out, even the stretcher bars on the base are arched, providing a special touch to every feature of this highly unusual antique piece. The stand is 30 ¼" tall; the top is 10" square and the legs at the floor have a 11 ¾" width. The stand is structurally sound, no breaks or repairs, and it is in very good condition for it's age, with normal signs of age and use, dings, scratches and other imperfections. I purchased this unique stand at an English shipment sale. I only offer carefully selected quality pieces, and always provide multiple photos and written information.
