Antique English Oak Beveled Cheval Dressing Mirror Direct from England, a very special antique English oak framed cheval dressing mirror, with a fabulous beveled edge and arched top. I selected this particular mirror for its obvious beauty and style, and I also appreciate this is NOT a run-of-the mill item and you won't find multiple ones all over the internet!! The mirror swivels on the original brackets on each side post and the feet has the original rolling castors. The oak frame has a beautiful dark finish and a wonderful aged patina! The mirror and frame stand 61 ½" (OVER five feet tall!!); The width from post to post is 15 ¼"; Footprint on the floor is 15 ½" x 19 ½"; The mirror itself is 46" x 12"; Glass thickness is appx ¼" thick and wood back is appx ¼" thick. I purchased the mirror in an English container sale, along with several other mirrors that I have presently listed for sale. The oak stand and beveled mirror are in better condition than most others the same age, with normal signs of age and use, dings, scratches and other imperfections. The mirror has VERY good reflection quality, clear, not cloudy, but IT IS NOT A NEW MIRROR.
