Antique English Oak Leaded Glass Hanging Corner Cabinet SOLID Oak, Jacobean, Stained Leaded Door, Arts & Craft Direct from England, this listing for an outstanding antique English oak corner cabinet, ready for hanging on the wall, but also could be used on the floor. It has outstanding style, with a solid stained leaded glass door; the glass is a beautiful amber color, textured, with a diamond pattern leaded on both sides. The cabinet itself has an ornate cornice, with heavy molding and thick raised and paneled geometric trim on the upper cabinet. The cabinet is solid oak, with outstanding wood grain and a lovely aged patina. Inside t are three storage shelves and one ½ shelf (the ½ shelf appears to have been added over the years, and I cannot decide what its purpose was....very intriguing!!). I do not purchase in bulk, but prefer to individually purchase the items, with each piece selected for its unique characteristics and quality. I selected this particular cabinet because it is one of the most unique corner cabinets I have seen in quite some time, with the paneled geometric molding and the outstanding stained leaded glass door. Of course, it could be used anyw in the home or office, and with its classic style, it is sure to compliment most decors, from traditional to Colonial, Tudor to Jacobean, Victorian to shabby chic!!! Measurements: 45 ½"H x 22 ¼" x 11"; 13" from the back corner to each of the front corners. The cabinet is in good condition, with LESS THAN normal signs of age and use, scratches, dings, and other imperfections. T is some rubbing on the wood around the original brass pull, and the brass filigree has a tiny loop or two missing. For disclosure purposes, I also noted some of the screws on the very top side (that doesn't show to the front) have been replaced with newer screws over the years.
