Antique English Oak Mid Century Music Cabinet "Tambour" style front rolls down, KEY INCLUDED This listing is for a wonderful English oak music or map cabinet. I selected this particular music cabinet for its beautiful tambour front, and flexible nine drawer interior. The key IS presented with the cabinet, and functions properly, locking the tambour roll front when the cabinet is closed. The cabinet is oak and oak veneer with a rich, dark finish. The interior holds nine separate drawers on a wood frame suspended inside the cabinet. The drawers pull out easily on their slides, which have rubber covered drawer stops that prevent them from pulling completely out unless you raise the front of the drawer to an angle, much like modern day cabinetry.The cabinet measurements:45 ¼" H; 18 ¼" across the front; 14" side width.The inside drawers are appx. 15 ½" x 13" x 3".This cabinet is truly a very versatile piece, suitable for anyw in your home or office, great for storage and display.The cabinet is in good condition for its age, structurally sound, with normal signs of age and use, dings, scratches and other imperfections. The roll front works smoothly and properly; some of the inside drawers have staining, t are two in particular that have noticeable dark spots on bottoms. The left side of the cabinet top has some white specks (pin head size) that will probably clean off, and do not harm the beauty of the piece, but are mentioned for full disclosure purposes.
