A fabulous English silverplated double inkstand with the original cranberry glass ink bottles with silverplated tops.In the centre is a figure of a greyhound dog which is beautifully executed. There is a triangle date lozenge on the inside of one leg which dates the piece to 1868. The inkstand is in really great condition and would make a fine addition to any desk. It has initals engraved to the front of it which seem to be EFL, but are not easily read. This is obviously a piece of very fine quality.
