Item Description: This is a beautiful antique English solid dark oak Queen Anne sideboard buffet server with brass rails. It has an attractive top surface which has a lovely scalloped front and it features gorgeous decorative brass rails on its back with beautiful finials on top. The rail has a minor flaw on one of its end but it is easily overlooked, and the top surface may have some age appropriate wood imperfections and dark marks but they only add character to the piece. On its center it has a smooth operating drawer that is well constructed with dovetail joinery and it has attractive handles with unique hardware. Under it there is a convenient open cabinet with a beveled edge and it has a lovely decorative wood cut on around its border. This sideboard has two cabinets with four shelves, one which is removable, and they have attractive handles. They have a lock mechanism with one key present but only one of their locks works properly, and though the shelves have aged stains they can be easily covered with your favorite fabric or wallpaper to match your current dÃf©cor. The server has beautiful Queen Anne legs with pad feet. This sideboard may have wood separations and imperfections on its sides and front but overall it is in very good cosmetic and structural condition for its age, circa 1920, and it is strong and sturdy.
